Black Pepper Steak & Corns with Rice


Marinate Steak
1 lb of grill cut steak
Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of steak
Let it marinate at least 30 min.

Stir fried corns
1 can sweet corns or frozen corns
1 minced garlic
2 tbsp dried shrimps (optional)
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp - 1 tsp salt
1 tbsp fish sauce (optional)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp lemon juice (may substitute with vinegar)
1/4 cup green onions

Additional topping
Green onions
Fried shallots
Red pepper flakes

Stir fried the corns with the ingredients above until fragrant or corns lightly charred.
Add green onions last.

Cook steak according to your liking.
Make sure you have enough oil to make the steak crispy and sizzling.
Let steak rest and cut it into pieces.

Put on a small cast iron and add butter then rice.
Then add steak and corns like the picture above.
Finally, add green onions, shallots, and red pepper flakes.

Enjoy!
